Nd:YAG Clarity II vascular laser from Lutronic in Rouen
Dr Loïc Bosser uses the Clarity II from Lutronic for certain vascular treatments at the Rouen office. This platform has two wavelengths: Alexandrite 755 nm and Nd:YAG 1064 nm. This page presents its vascular use in Nd:YAG mode. A medical consultation allows you to determine if this treatment is suitable.
Clarity II and VBeam Perfecta: two technologies
Lutronic's Clarity II uses the Nd:YAG wavelength of 1064 nm here. Candela's VBeam Perfecta, also available in the office, is a 595 nm pulsed dye laser.
These two pieces of equipment have different characteristics. The depth, diameter and appearance of the vessels, as well as the characteristics of the skin, guide the medical choice. The brand name of the laser is not enough to determine the appropriate treatment.
Which vessels can be treated?
Certain dilated vessels in the face or legs may require Nd:YAG treatment. The depth, diameter and appearance of the vessels, as well as the characteristics of the skin, guide the medical choice.
The laser is not suitable for all vascular lesions. The doctor may suggest other treatment if the examination justifies it.
Why Choose Our Firm’s Nd:YAG Laser?
The Clarity II from Lutronic includes a cooling system which contributes to comfort and skin protection during treatment. A warm or tingling sensation may be felt.
The laser parameters and the instructions before and after the session are adapted to your skin and the indication chosen during the consultation.
Progress of a Session
The first consultation allows you to examine the area, clarify your request and collect useful information for treatment. The doctor explains the proposed treatment, its alternatives, its consequences and its cost.
The session is adapted to the area concerned. Instructions before and after treatment are specified in the office.
Expected Results
The results and the number of sessions required vary depending on the vessels treated and the characteristics of the skin. An improvement in one or two sessions does not constitute a systematic result.
Redness and swelling may appear. Laser treatment also carries risks, in particular burns, changes in pigmentation or scars. The doctor specifies the expected benefits, risks and care to be followed before the session.
Prices
The financial terms appear in the Firm’s Rates section. A quote adapted to the treatment envisaged is established during the consultation.
